VELVET TONKA - BDK PARFUMS

The tonka bean is a material full of contrasts, sometimes reminiscent of vanilla leather, sometimes almond or even possibly revealing chocolate facets. Velvet Tonka features a trilogy between tonka bean, orange blossom and almond. On the skin, it gives the impression of an oriental delicacy sprinkled with icing sugar. The tonka bean, with balsam facets, is dressed with almonds and rose petals for a velvet side, and a touch of tobacco absolute that gives it its honeyed side. In the background, there are addictive notes brought by the milky wood of amyris, enhanced by ambroxan and vanilla absolutes for an incomparable velvety and sensuality. Velvet Tonka pays tribute to the Moroccan origins of founder David Benedek and the iconography linked to this region of the world, through its flavors and landscapes, as a gourmet breath coming straight from the Atlas mountains.
