The bergamot joins the maple to create a cocoon for the rose note at the heart of this creation, a pastry-like chord softened by a blend of cedar, gaiac, juniper, and oud wood, and sandalwood-like amyris with exotic notes of gurjum, cypriol, and patchouli that are animated by cumin and cardamom, all nestled in a base tanned with incense, cyst, and labdanum.
