Where am I? Am I still dreaming or is this reality?

Dreams tell of that moment suspended between dream and real life, that moment when our mind and heart are still in a distant place and we feel lost, confused, as if suspended...

With Sogni I shared my love for Japan, memories of past travels, my passion for Kawabata literature, films and Kurosawa bonsai, and I tried to tell a new story with a warm, woody scent, my Japanese dream.

One day, a long time ago, I thought and dreamed of being able to create a perfect wood scent, where the different woods tell the story of time, the flow of life itself, again a challenge, a scent that could be unique, exciting and engaging.

Dreams are the realization of my desire, an immediate experience, incredibly close to reality and the nature of things. Aesthetic devotion to nature.

The opening of Dreams is made of tatami wood and Japanese pine needles, we are in an old ryokan in Kyoto and the rain has stopped falling. A bowl of hot rice is next to us, it reminds us of the simplicity of life, its purity. Attention brings to our noses the green, clear and transparent note of a bamboo forest, the flowering note of Pivoine is on the contrary an exciting haiku. A moment that is a prelude to the awakening of our soul from the dream. Finally, the lights of this night envelop the wooden notes of Santal, Cedar and the typical chord of the Kodo ritual, the incense.

R. Sakamoto's Async album in each of these phases and reading the works of Y. Kawabata.
