The desert wind caresses the ground, splits the sand and blows silently. 

Her heart beats slowly, her deaf, monolithic voice seems to be the only sound around.

I looked for a point of orientation between the dunes, walking towards the east and after each step into the unknown I lost all fear, all weight. 

They are left behind, the traces dissolve in the sand like past thoughts; they have nothing to do with the present.

God left a fragment of Himself in the heart of the Dhofar, the gold of the desert, so that humans could burn it to communicate with Him.

If the gods smoked during their dark nights to pamper their spirits, they would smoke incense.

I've lost all contact with reality to enter the middle of nowhere and surrender to the law of the desert.
