RIVIÈRE - THAMEEN
RIVIÈRE - THAMEEN
THE STORY: A 'Rivière' is a classic necklace made up of gemstones of identical or perfectly graduated cut. One of the most famous Rivières belonged to Queen Mary and consisted of 34 old-cut diamonds. She later gave the necklace to her granddaughter, Princess Margaret, and it was later sold at Christies for almost £1 million in 2006.
THE SCENT: Shimmering at the top, spicy notes of Indian black pepper and Persian saffron melodically blend into Ceylon cinnamon with a luminous accord of lemon blossom. This dazzling opening weaves into a deep, faceted heart of Russian clary sage, Turkish rose and carnation, polished with warm, burnished Indonesian patchouli. The iridescent base of amber and oud wood, infused with soft, opulent Indian cypriol and sun-drenched leather, enriches this jewel with a glow of dark resin. Rivière conveys a sophisticated radiance - its elegant simplicity disguising a meticulous construction. An olfactory masterclass for perfume perfectionists.
