How 's your mood ? sophisticated, dreamy, exotic
A sumptuous and luxurious composition that transports you to a parallel universe of abundance, away from the daily worries, to a place of sensual calm, offering comfort to your soul. Inspired by a verse from Baudelaire's poem Invitation to the Voyage, it takes you on a journey through the places of pleasure.
Notes: bitter orange, green mandarin, galbanum, hyacinth, tropical fruit, ylang ylang, iris, benjoin, sandalwood, vetiver and opoponax. The following notes are added:
Luxe Calme Volupte is a luxurious and opulent fragrance that expresses the desire for a place of sensual calm, a suspension of daily worries, a pause in human anxieties.
In the current historical context, I felt the need to offer not a stimulating and conflicting creation, but something that can bring comfort to the mind, an invitation to connect to oneself and temporarily forget about everyday worries.
<unk> Luxe Calme Volupté <unk> is a recurring line from Baudelaire's magnificent poem, Invitation to Travel:
There's order and beauty,
Luxury, peace and quiet.
In this poem, Baudelaire invites his lover to join him in an exotic place where they can live in calm and peace, while reflecting his decadent aesthetic.
Luxe Calme Volupté is also the name of a large painting by Henri Matisse - which is very dear to me - conveying the same ideas that inspired my perfumes, namely the contrast of a calm and peaceful character on the one hand, and sensual and decadent elements on the other.
