The Bottle
Anxious to showcase Australia's expertise in botanical research and development, Goldfield & Banks wrapped this creation in a package as sumptuous as the perfume it contains. Each French glass bottle is covered with a lacquer containing 24 carat gold, a tribute to the romance of the Australian gold rush and the allure of the indigenous flora, nuts, woods and seeds that inspire each of the house's perfumes.

Each 100ml Island Lush perfume is packaged in a luxurious Goldfield & Banks suede case.

Native to the archipelagos of Vanuatu and New Caledonia, the South Pacific sandalwood - Santalum austrocaledonicum - is an evergreen tree up to nine metres high, harvested in the wild by local communities for its prized heartwood and roots.

Turning to the idyllic shores of these islands in search of new and rare natural materials, Goldfield & Banks created Island Lush, the first luxury fragrance in its collection to explore the rich character of this South Pacific sandalwood.
