A Cry for Freedom
The Kalahari, the largest sand desert on earth, is still home to lush flora thanks to the omurambas, ancient riverbeds still rich in moisture. In the evening, when the sun sets and gives way to the starry vault, you can hear the stars shouting as Bushman legend says.
Inspired by the ancestral symbol of the majestic baobab, which carries in its millenary wood all the history of Africa, this perfume, whose woody notes are played here in overdose, becomes almost palpable, one can guess the nervous texture engraved in this massive trunk emerging under the fingers. Thanks to the meticulous assembly of sandalwood, cedar wood and a touch of patchouli irradiated by a streak of green pepper like stardust, this powerful perfume is an enchanting invitation to the arid lands of the Kalahari.
The inspiration of SONIA
Telling of a time suspended in the slopes of the Makgadikgadi, this scent gushed out like a scream. Very simple vertical structure, it is composed of buzzing notes. The green pepper precedes a combination of sandalwood and cedar to which I mixed a touch of patchouli that reveals the scents of the iconic adansonia.
