‘Click Song’, Qongqothwane in the Xhosa language, is a song worn around the world by the great Miriam Makeba, a key figure in South Africa. A township boy who became a star in her country, she was forced to carry the wings of exile as her voice against apartheid resonated. An artist, a committed activist, called ‘Mama Afrika’, she carried her struggle around the world.

‘Click Song’, is a burning tribute to this extraordinary woman, a pink button draped in patchouli leaf, whose deep, solid amber roots, of cistus sink into the sacred land of her origins.
