CIVET - ZOOLOGIST

As the sun sets over the dense rainforest, civet cats emerge with suspicion from the thickets. Under a carpet of narcotic flowers, a handful of pepper coffee berries stand on the floor. The moist air is heavy with foam aromas that penetrate into all the crevices, but the musky smell of civet cats dominates; their territory marked daring to enter at its peril.

The zoologist Civet pays tribute to the age-old ingredient civets, as well as to the Cypric perfumes of yesteryear - perfumes that refused to be intimidated by the raw, seductive and animal musks. The civet is a lunatic and complex infusion mixed with mystery. It opens with a spicy floral chord, crossed with dark coffee tones. Slowly, it prowls forward, untangling background notes of leather, foam and vanilla that combine with distinctive civet musk to create a bewildering and sophisticated scent with the promise of a sensual nighttime rendezvous.
