The name “Blue Suede Shoes” refers not only to blue suede shoes, but also to a legendary piece of music history. Carl Perkins' eponymous rock'n'roll song was released in 1956 and is one of the most popular singles. In the same year, the King himself, Elvis Presley, recorded a somewhat faster recovery. Although it wasn't intended as a single, it ended up in the singles chart and made the song famous worldwide. With a lot of humor, the lyrics of the song speak of someone who loves his blue suede shoes, because in the lyrics, he asks among others: “Tu was du willst, schlag mich nieder, zünde mein Haus an, stiehl meinen Wagen ..., aber tritt nur nicht auf meine blauen Veraignslederschuhe.“ THE CAPITAL - der Duft zu Ehren der ersten XERJOFF Boutique in Moskau, exklusiv nur in den Xerjoff Boutiquen und über Classic Parfumc s!Mit so viel dynamischer Inspiration musste einfach ein kraftvoller Duft entstehen. The concept of creative director Herbert Stricker was implemented by perfumers Blanca Dalmau and Christian Carbonnel.
From the beginning, we discover in the perfume BLUE SUEDE SHOES a fresh, herbaceous and spicy mixture. Bitter bergamot and aromatic lavender are finely accentuated by anise and pepper. The notes of heart give off a woody and rather dry background. Cedar wood is a key contributor, but tamed patchouli, fine amber and creamy sandalwood also support this trait. A soft base supports the fresh and woody fragrance with harmoniously fused components such as vetiver, tonka bean and labdanum. The elegant steel blue bottle reinforces the impression that the BLUE SUEDE SHOES fragrance is an expressive citrus fragrance appreciated by both men and women.
