HISTORY: Considered by many to be the most famous diamond in the world, The Hope is also one of the largest diamonds in the world. Described as the size of a pigeon egg, it is a distinctive gray blue in color, and also emanates from a rare red phosphorescent glow. The stone was carried by sultans, queens, aristocrats, and worshippers; notably Queen Marie-Antoinette, who wore it as a hairpin, and its last private owner, the flamboyant heiress Evalyn Walsh Maclean. He was the inspiration for the “Heart of the Ocean” in the film Titanic and provides the inspiration for this iridescent fragrance.
PERFUME: Opening with the warm glow of cinnamon bark, the myrrh and cloves evoke the legendary glow of diamonds. A woody shimmer of cedar and oud wood is at the heart, stacked with the multi-faceted honey sparkle of the immortal flower. A base of black amber, labdanum resin (from the Rose of Mediterranean Rock), musk and vetiver, exudes pure glamor and sophistication. Decadent.
