RIVIÈRE - THAMEEN

One of the most famous Rivieres was owned by Queen Mary and consisted of 34 old-fashioned cut diamonds. She later gave the necklace to her granddaughter, Princess Margaret, and it was subsequently sold at Christies for almost £1 million in 2006. 

PERFUME: Glittering at the top, spicy notes of Indian black pepper and Persian saffron melodiously blend into the cinnamon of Ceylon with a luminous accompaniment of lemon blossoms. This dazzling opening creeps into a deep, multifaceted core of cleared sage from Russia, Turkish rose and carnation, polished with a warm, brownish patchouli from Indonesia.
