PEACOCK THRONE - THAMEEN

HISTORY: Created for the Mughal Emperors of India in the early 17th century, the Peacock Throne was one of the most opulent treasures in history. The platform of pure gold was covered with enamel, precious stones and a double peacock tail set with rubies, emeralds, pearls and diamonds. With at its heart the Koh-i-Noor diamond, the largest known diamond in the world.

THE PERFUME: The perfume opens with a bright Indian jasmine, Egyptian irises and pearls of pink pepper. At its heart is the rose of Taif, one of the oldest cities of Arabia, its ruby glow, full and extravagant. In light notes, the rich heat comes from princely patchouli, sparkling vetiver and browned vanilla.
