NEKTAR - LABORATORIO OLFATTIVO

The first inspiration for this fragrance was a beautiful trip to Wadi Darbat in southern Oman, a unique place in the Middle East where the monsoons from India end their flow. Instead of being dry and desert, as one might expect, this region is lush and very diverse from a botanical point of view: wide rivers, large trees and a unique treasure of this region, the Sidr tree. The Sidr tree has nothing in common with the cedar. It is an ancient tree of the Ziziphus family, producing red fruits and incredible flowers. Thanks to these flowers, the local bees produce the richest, most exclusive and characteristic honey you can imagine. It is known as the very unique Yemen Sidr honey.
I was lucky enough to spend a few days there with a botanist and an incense farmer, and I came back from that trip with the inspiration for Sidr Valley. I created a fragrance that captured the different facets of the cedar. Honey and its natural environment.
