All the Florentines know this very particular lion: Marzocco. This noble heraldic animal, and one of the symbols of Florence, holds in its paw a shield on which is found the Florentine lily. Although the sculpture made by the sculptor Donatello in 1420 is today in the Museo del Bargello, a sandstone copy is clearly visible on Piazza della Signora, in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. The bottle of the Marzocco de Roberto Ugolini is also very Florentine: a warm purple, a color also very typical of Florence. Marzocco, the perfume: In light colors, the mane of the proud Marzocco shines under the Italian sun, with the sparkling fruity and citric notes of tangerine, lime and lemon, which embody the spirit of Italian summer. Sumptuous orange blossoms and a spellbinding jasmine exhale their unique and spellbinding nobility, which honors the “Marzocco”, this famous lion and king of animals. The background note is drawn in watermark, skillfully balanced and distinguished, with a skillfully dosed mixture of harsh and spicy vanilla accents, fine and mystical patchouli, dry cedar wood, powdered musk and a selection of the noblest wood essences.
In the fragrance of Marzocco, we can see once again the mastery of the experienced noses Maurizio Cerizza and Cristian Calabrò, who perfectly implemented the concept of the creative spirit Herbert Stricker. With this composition, the Marzocco emblem has emerged from its sleep that has lasted for nearly 600 years. An olfactory renaissance for connoisseurs and lovers of excellent perfumes.
