Dark and dark, sparkling gold, dramatic and decadent: Byzantine Amber is my interpretation of the amber chord.
A start with cinnamon and geranium pulp develops into an amber base with a dark, animal and mineral facet.
Byzantine amber is the third fragrance to make up, with libertin neroli and musk untold, the series specifically dedicated to the glorious raw materials of perfumery, reinterpreted according to the style of the house.

Byzantine Amber is an intense and decadent fragrance, the image of a great civilization in the final phase of its splendor.
Gustave Moreau's Salomé is a painting that can evoke the splendor and drama of this olfactory work in images.

The beautiful mosaics of Byzantine civilization, such as those of Ravenna, feature sparkling gold tesserae, imperfect because worn by time. This sense of theatrical splendor and light, accompanied by a dark and dark side, inspired Byzantine amber.
Geranium - pulpy, pink, spicy, slightly green - contrasts with the dry mineral of gray amber and styrax.
The backbone of this work is a familiar structure, an amber chord enriched by the spice that makes it sensual: cinnamon.
This warm and shiny harmony is darkened by baked, smoked and animal aspects that give intensity and characterise the composition.
