When the lilies-spiders the ginger-butterflies the frangipani trees, line the smallest path and the lotuses bloom the smallest stretch of water, the landscapes in turn become fragrance. Among the indigenous flowers in Bali, the inhabitants have made the frangipani flower the emblem of their island and the offering to their many gods and goddesses of the Hindu pantheon. Sensitive to ceremonies, dances, dances where the smells and colors spread to make only one, it seemed to me that the fragrance of these flowers offered the beauty and diversity of the island.
