ANGEL'S DUST - FRANCESCA BIANCHI
ANGEL'S DUST - FRANCESCA BIANCHI
Perfume extract
Description: Powder, rosé, balsamic
classic, vintage, soft, decadent
In a dusty boudoir from a bygone era, a mistress puts on lipstick while waiting for the arrival of her lover.
Facial powder floats in the air, mixed with the smell of roses and the woody effusion of the woodwork. The innocence of the powdered musks mingles with the decadence of sensual balsamic notes.
Notes: black pepper, mimosa, rose, iris, musk, sandalwood, tolu balsam, benzoin, vanilla.
It is a perfume extract, to be used sparingly because the concentration is 25%. It has a great longevity (12 hours on average).
Angel's Dust Development
While working on Angel's Dust, I studied how to create an innocent and lightweight feminine touch like a feather, but at the same time seductive, audacious and corrupt.

While working on Angel's Dust, I sought to obtain an innocent and light feminine touch like a feather, but at the same time seductive, audacious and corrupt. The vintage turn was not voluntary but a necessary consequence of my idea of a femininity of the past, where women had a wooden boudoir and spent hours putting powder and other beauty secrets on their faces and bodies, and did not care to assert themselves through a career but exercised their power through Beauty and Seduction. I then softened the powdered-iris-pink part by adding a mixture of resins, representing a dirty and experienced sensuality.

Some films and books have inspired me. The Dangerous Links, for example, represent exactly the sophisticated and corrupt atmosphere I had in mind! Another beautiful memory is that of Marie-Antoinette, as portrayed in Sofia Coppola's film. I obviously like rococo, but what I particularly like about this film is the femininity it represents: shoes, sins, libertine, cakes and absolute carelessness, without any guilt. Some critics have compared Angel's Dust to some of Guerlain's mythological fragrances (Luca Turin mentioned Guet-Apens / Attrape Coeurs). I'm honored to see such a comparison.
